Weekend merupakan waktu istirahat yang paling tepat untuk aku dan Suami. Setelah 5 hari kerja terus, waktu luang merupakan hal yang paling kami tunggu. Biasanya waktu luang ini kami habiskan untuk santai sambil ngobrol. Mulai dari bangun tidur sampai waktu makan siang, biasanya kita just veg-out...u know..lay like brocolie and just relax....ga gosok gigi apalagi mandi. Tapi that's is the best moment of our lives...huahahahaa..jorok ya?....ga pa pa deh...ga ada yang keberatan ini.
Nah..weekend kemaren itu long weekend. Sabtu, Minggu dan Senin libur......waduh..surga banget deh rasanya....three whole day...all we did is just lay low and relax...(did I mention that already?..hehehe).
Walaupun cuma lay low and relax, that doesn't mean we didn't do anything. Biasanya ritual kami berdua, setiap hari libur adalah, bangun tidur (agak siang sedikit..abis shalat subuh biasanya bobo' lagi :-) )..terus berhubung koleksi film kita masih banyak banget yang belum ditonton, mulai deh kita list..kira-kira pertama kali mau nonton apa.
Hari Sabtu kemarin, we decided to watch a movie called "Something's Gotta Give". Film yang dapet nominasi oscar untuk aktris terbaik, Diane Keaton. Selain Diane, ada Jack Nicholson, Keanu Reeves, terus hmm..siapa lagi ya..ooh iya...Frances Mcdermott, tapi yang lainnya aku lupa...ga pa pa kan....yang penting tokoh utamanya lengkap.
Something's menceritakan tentang kisah cinta 2 orang dewasa, kalo ga mau dibilang tua. Jack Nicholson berperan sebagai Harry Sanborn, seorang playboy, berumur 63 tahun yang pada awalnya pacaran sama anaknya Diane Keaton, Marin. Diane Keaton berperan sebagai stagewriter for Broadway, Erica Jane Barry yang umurnya 55 tahun. Pada satu waktu, Harry kena serangan jantung ringan terus di periksa oleh Dr. Julian (Keanu Reeves...gila deh..udah cakep...ganteng...dokter lagi....huahahaha...wooiiiii..sadar...it's only fiction...:D..) Selesai meriksa Harry Dr. Julian ketemu ama Erica and he falls head over heels with her. He thinks she is soo beautiful and sexy not to mention very smart. To make the story short, Dr. Julian akhirnya nge-date sama Erica, and he adores her...
Kalo aku hanya cerita tentang cinta diantara dua orang dewasa, itu cerita biasa dan normal. Tapi yang menarik perhatian aku adalah perbedaan usia antara Harry dengan Marrin....over than 20 years, tapi itu juga masih ok lah...karena udah agak biasa kalo yang cowo' lebih tua...walau in this case...the different between their age could count as another human being..20 years.
Hal lain yang juga menarik perhatian aku adalah, hubungan antara si Julian (the doctor) ama Erica...yang perbedaan umurnya hampir 20 tahun....sekitar 18 tahun....
Perbedaan umur ini membuat aku berpikir...bener ga sich umur itu berperan dalam percintaan..."Does Age really matter in Love?"
Hehehe..mungkin pada kesel ya....or kecewa,...masa sich udah cerita segitu panjang soal film, eh yang diangkat jadi subyek malah masalah perbedaan umur dalam hubungan dua manusia dewasa.
Sebenernya contoh dari perbedaan umur antara hubungan 2 manusia ini, terutama kalo yang cewe' lebih tua dari yang cowo', ga usah nunggu nonton film Something's Gotta Give...di Indonesia aja, banyak banget artis yang kayak gitu...in real life....tapi aku specialy ngambil topik ini karena aku pernah baca di suatu situs internet...yang bilang "Age doesn't protect you from love..but love to some extent, protects you from Age"...terjemahan bebasnya adalah, "Usia ga bisa menahan kamu untuk jatuh cinta, tapi cinta bisa bikin kamu awet muda".......dan I find it very interesting....is love really that powerfull....??....
Jadi bisa dibilang "Something" merupakan trigger yang bikin aku pengen nulis tentang hal ini.....
Kalo melihat realita yang ada, aku yakin jawaban dari pertanyaan-ku diatas adalah..No....Age doesn't really matter, tapi tetap masih ada suara sumbang dan pandangan miring tentang those odd couple...terutama untuk yang cewe' nya.....biasanya dibilang hmm...penyuka 'brondong'...hehehehe....tapi yang cowo' juga ga lepas dari pandangan miring...biasanya julukan 'gigolo' pasti menghampiri....and it can happen in both culture...either western or eastern....
Menjawab pertanyaan-ku yang lain..."is love really that powerful ?" I feel very certain that it is...so....just like the old saying say...."Love is all you need"....so..please belive in love....and remember love will find its way....no matter what.......ga lagi tergantung ama umur, kebudayaan, pendidikan...anything deh....malah sekarang juga udah ga tergantung ama gender lagi...hehehehee....

Josh Groban + Looks + Voice....Equals..."SEXY"
Kali ini aku mau cerita tentang Josh Groban...hehehehe...kalo yang kemaren tentang movie...now it's about music....Do you know Josh Groban....well I am kinda in love with that young man...hehehehehehe....actually I am in love with his voice....he has a great voice..and a very handsome face.....the first time I saw him...aku bilang...Gile..suaranya bagus bener.....it is quite hard to believe that such a voice could come from that beautiful package....hmmm..wrong chosen of words ya?....tapi emang bener kok...beautiful package means...he comes in a good look; great talent and still considerably young...what a great combination...

Sekitar 3-4 bulan yang lalu, di acara Morning Coffee-nya radio Female...dibahas tentang lagu-nya dia...waktu itu yang dibahas adalah lagu dia bareng Charlotte Church "The Prayer" yang katanya bisa ngalahin versi-nya Celine Dion ama siapa tuch namanya....penyanyi seriosa yang gendut?..lupa aku...hehehehehe....ooh iya...Luciano Pavarotti...and yang request lagu itu banyak banget...karena banyak yang request, akhirnya si penyiar mulai cerita tentang si Ganteng Sexy ini....Josh Groban "ditemuin" oleh "si tangan dingin" David Foster.....yang katanya terpukau waktu ndenger suara-nya yang powerful itu....lalu diasah lah...dan dipasangin duet ama Charlotte Church itu...masuk dalam album The Best of David Foster....and he is famous ever since.....

Aliran musik yang diusung ama si Ganteng satu ini sih kedengerannya Seriosa....hehehehe...sorry ya...soalnya I am more into movies than music....jadi mohon dimaafkan kalo ternyata salah...hehehehe....Karena alirannya seriosa...seperti yang kita udah tau, banyaknya itu orang-orang dari Italia yang nyanyi...(maap sekali lagi ya kalo salah :-(..)....ya kayak si Luciano Pavarotti itu...dan kawan-kawannya deh..yang pada gendut-gendut....:-)....karena itu, lagu-nya Mr. Sexy ini juga banyak yang berbahasa Italia....karena ga ngerti arti-nya...I find it very hard to like the song...

"Friends" and "Sex and The City" ...in my opinion is the best concept of "Friendship"....
2 macam bentuk per-teman-an...and both are very interesting
Ngelanjutin cerita aku sebelumnya tentang MOVIE MANIA, kali ini aku mau nyoba untuk jadi "pengamat independen" dari semua film yang pernah aku tonton.
Pertama kali aku nonton serial Friends, aku jatuh cinta ama semua tokoh utama di film itu. Menurut aku friends merupakan film yang sangat menghibur. Semua karakter dalam friends saling melengkapi. Ada Ross, yang serius dan setia, ada Rachel yang manja dan cantik, ada Monica yang perfeksionis, ada Joey yang rada lemot tapi playboy, ada Phoebe yang lugu and innocent dan terakhir ada chandler yang always trying to be 'funny'.
Film ini merupakan film wajib yang aku tonton bareng suami. Setelah mengkoleksi ampir seluruh seri-nya...(ooh ya sekarang udah season terakhir nich....aku jadi deg-degan nungguin endingnya..), aku suka nonton episode yang lama berulang-ulang dan lucunya kok ndak bosen ya...I find it very entertaining...so I can watch it over and over and over again.....
Kalo serial "Sex and The City" baru aja aku tonton. Di serial ini ada 4 cewe' yang tinggal di New York City...(friends is also take place in Manhattan, New York). Mereka berempat ini wanita karier yang sukses. Tokoh sentralnya adalah si Carrie Bradshaw yang jadi columnist, terus dia punya 3 temen deket. Ada Charlotte..the brunette who is nice but really naive (well according to her friend she is)...she believed in marriage..in the very konventional way, there's Miranda..the red head, who is a lawyer, she believed that man are evil..there's no good man in this world...(not for her anyway)....and the last one is Samantha...she is a PR Specialist...and she is a SEX Goddess...hahahaha...she doesn't believe in relationship...she believe in having sex with anybody and everybody as long as he is good at it....hahahahaha..sometimes I think she is acting like a man...you know..when she has sex with some man...it is "slam bam..thank you man"...hahahahahaha
"Friends" lebih menceritakan tentang pertemanan dimana they told everything that is happen to them in their lives to their friends...and everything in here is everything..and mostly the problems that they have is about love and life in general...well like when Ross was fall madly in love with Rachel...but she doesn't know...so Chandler and Joey was tried to make him realize that it is never happen...Him and Rachel...but when finally Rachel find out about Ross affection toward her...She fell in love with him in return...but she can't because..He already has a girl friend...but the girls always tried to cheer her up....
Pertemanan di "Friends" itu bentuk pertemanan sejati..(at least according to me)...they are a really true friend..that will always be with you...in every moment you are in....when you're up or down.....especially when you are down....that's what count right?...
"Sex and The City" juga cerita tentang pertemanan...dimana 4 sekawan yang berbeda profesi ini saling cerita dan berbagi, but mostly about SEX. Sesuai-lah ama judul-nya...dan mereka menceritakan-nya dengan lugas and free...like it doesn't really matter...well maybe it doesn't...I mean...considering that this movie was taken place in a very very metropolitan city like new york....Tapi yang paling menarik dari cerita film ini adalah bagaimana ke empat cewe' sukses itu acts like a man...mereka dateng ke bar...attending the best party in town and usually they never go home alone...and in the next day...they acts like nothing happen...if they like the guy they called...if not...just forget about him....and they share this story with each other.....amazing isn't it....??
Yang sebenernya mau aku angkat di sini adalah....hmm...knapa ya...di Indonesia bentuk pertemanan seperti diatas itu jarang ditemui..well at least based on my experience ...memang sich secara culture we are very different with them, but if there's a good thing that we should learn from them..why not...just like technology...we are always trying to copy their technology right? so..why can't we do the same with that kind of friendship?...Are we really that different...I bet it is nice to have such a friend....kalo memang susah bagi kita untuk tell everything....mungkin yang bisa kita ambil dari ke 2 bentuk pertemanan ini adalah...hmm....always be there for your friend...through their ups and downs....and well...hoping they would do the same to you....:)..karena kalo ternyata kita ketemu ama temen yang mau enaknya aja...didengerin kalo dia perlu curhat tapi bt kalo kita mau curhat...ya...itu mah nasib jelek aja...:-(...
hmmm...I wonder...will our children experience the kind of friendships as we are having now or ?...I guess it is really up to us to show them the way....that they have to be there for their friend...but always remember the root of our culture....
I would like to believe that in the future...we will have that kind of friendship...but in our way....

My Collection
Sebagai orang yang ngaku dirinya penggemar film...aku merasa punya kewajiban untuk ngoleksi film...hehehehe...well you can say that it is only me..my excuse....but still...hahahaha...i am really have this big collection of movies...
It started out right after I am married...my husband and I....both are totally crazy movie watcher....pengamat film independen....you might say that...hahahahaha....but again...I am not really qualified as a pengamat film...hehehehe...hmm....movie's collector is more like it....
Jumlah koleksi yang aku punya sich udah lumayan banyak...untuk vcd sekitar 375 buah judul...tapi setelah kita kenal dvd, biarpun bajakan, tapi kualitasnya ga kalah ama vcd...kita terus beralih ke dvd....dan koleksi dvd yang kita udah punya hmmmm....sekitar 250 judul film....and it will be more with each day ....

Tempat aku beli dvd udah beraneka ragam....di Exim...you know...Sogo Jongkok of SCBD, terus di Wijaya....depan Wijaya theatre...terus di Ratu Plaza...but the place you have to go if you want to buy a DVD is.....GLODOK my man....hahahahaha...it's like heaven for DVD....
First time I go there....I was like...OMG...there's soo many movie that I have to buy....my eyes went roaming on every store there...hahahaha...my friend said to me...."easy girl"...hahahahaha....I can't decide which movie I want to buy first....so...on that first trip....I bought 19 tittles of movie....well...you can't call me a movie mania if you went to DVD heaven and only bought one or five movie....at least you have to bought hmmm....10...hahahahaha
On the second, third, fourth trip to Glodok..I bought at least 10 tittles...hahahaha...well that's me..and now I just sit back and relax..and watch all the movie...till the next trip to go back there..hahaha...and after I watch all the movie...I promise to tell you all about it..ok?..ya...belajar untuk jadi penulis or pengamat film independen....??...

Poetry.....
Beberapa hari belakangan ini aku lagi seneng banget baca puisi...well sebenernya sich aku seneng puisi udah lama...aku seneng aja..ada orang yang bisa merangkai kata-kata jadi satu untaian bait puisi yang indah.....
I think any person who can write poetry is a genius...well according to me.
Today I just finished reading several poetry from a little boy...his name is Faiz...Abdurahman Faiz....wow...he is only 8 years old...and he has been writting ever since he was three...you should hear some of the poem he wrote...he is absolutely great....even genius...here's some of his poetry....
Ayah Bundaku
Bunda...engkau adalah rembulan yang menari dalam dadaku...
Ayah.....engkau adalah matahari yang menghangatkan hatiku...
Ayah...Bunda....
Kucintai kau berdua...seperti aku mencintai surga....
Semoga Allah mencium Ayah Bunda...
Dalam Taman-Nya yang terindah nanti
Soo beautiful....rangkaian kata yang disusun oleh bocah umur 8 tahun. Kadang membuat aku merenung...alangkah indahnya apabila seluruh orang didunia itu bisa menyusun kata-kata indah kayak gitu mungkin ga sempet lagi bikin susah orang...ga menghalalkan segala cara untuk menguntungkan diri sendiri.....uuugghh....ngomongnya dah kayak politisi kesiangan aja....
Tapi menurut aku, orang-orang dewasa harus lebih banyak belajar..setidak-tidaknya bercermin pada anak kecil....karena mereka suci dan bersih hatinya...namun yang apa yang ada diperilaku mereka kadang lebih dewasa dari orang yang sudah dewasa....
Hmm...aku juga mau nyoba deh...lebih bercermin dan belajar sama anak kecil.....I know I'll learn something....and it will be something great and wonderful.....anybody want to join me???
